Pork Chop Recipes

This is my husband and my younger sons favorite meal. Typically they both finish two pork chops each. I hope you like them too.

Sautéing first over high heat and then covered over low heat helps to prevent the chops from turning dry.

I serve this with fresh, warm applesauce and herbed rice on the side.

Preparation time: About 10 minutes Cooking time: About 30 minutes

You can also add 1/4 cup white wine in with the soup. You can really add any seasonings to the pork that you prefer.

You can also bread your pork chops first with Bisquick and flour (or whatever you normally use). Also try orange/pineapple juice. I don't know if this is the kind of recipe you are looking for, but it is good and simple

Serve with Spiced Butternut Whip.

I think I would use metal skewers, like the ones to truss a turkey, instead of toothpicks to hold these closed. I think the toothpicks might burn.
