This may seem to be a strange way to cook the roast but we have never been disappointed. It turns out juicy and tender. It is worth spending the extra money on a good cut of meat. I swear this is just as good if not better than some of the finest prime rib dinners I have had in restaurants.

This is a NO fail perfectly roast beef. If doing a standing rib roast or other tender beef roast with bone in roast at 600 degrees for 7 minutes per pound for rare meat. Adjust cooking time accordingly using the above directions.
