Ingredients

  • Roast
  • beef boullion
  • onion
  • carrots
  • potatoes.

Directions

Place roast in large pan on top of stove. [It can be frozen],

Pour about 3-4 cups beef boullion over, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low or simmer, add onion. Cover. Simmer for about 3 hours, add potatoes and carrots on medium for about 45 min to 1 hour. I've never had much luck with the oven but find this makes for a very moist roast and the left over broth can be used as soup with the leftover meat and and veggies another day. Or use it as a base for gravy. If the maeat is frozen I give it a turn a couple of times.
