This is excellent, but there are tons of recipes in the Archives as well.


  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Tabasco to taste


Brown beef in skillet, stirring until crumbled and browned. Add onion and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot dogs, in buns. 8 to 10 servings.
