Not from the TV but very good!

Ingredients

  • 4 medium onions (or 1 pkg. fresh or frozen pearl onions)
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Dash turmeric
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Directions

Cut med. onions into 1/4" thick slices, or use pearl onions whole. Combine onion, salt & next 5 ingredients, tossing to coat. Melt butter in large heavy skillet over medium heat; add oil and onion, and cook, stirring constantly, 25 minutes or until onion is lightly browned and tender. 4-6 servings.
