Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken livers
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 1 each chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 teaspoon parsley -- minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 1 tablespoon brandy

Directions

Combine chicken livers in slow-cooking pot with wine, bouillon, parsley, onion, ginger, seasoned salt, soy sauce, and mustard. Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours. Let stand in liquid until cool. Drain and place in blend er or food grinder. Add butter and brandy. Blend or mix until smooth.


Serve with crackers or toast.
