To make a spicier sausage add: 1/4 tsp ground cloves and 1/4 tsp ground mace to this Basic Country sausage mixture.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 2 tsp rubbed sage
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground marjoram
- 1/4 tsp ground thyme
Directions
Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Shape into 6 patties about 1/2 inch thick. Cook in large skilet over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes on each side. Drain.
