Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 cups white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup canning salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- Boil for 5 minutes, then let cool.
- Wash and scald Jars.
- In each jar put:
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 head of dill
- 1/2 sliced onion
- Unpeeled sliced cucumbers [I use the food processor]
- Pour cooled brine over cucumbers and put lids on Store in refrigerator. Keeps for months.
Directions
These are sweet. Try the garlic [after it has set a while-my family fights over it!] if you make them.
