Ingredients:
4 cups sugar4 cups white vinegar 1 cup water 1/3 cup canning salt 1/2 tsp. celery salt 1/2 tsp. mustard seed Boil for 5 minutes, then let cool. Wash and scald Jars. In each jar put: 1 clove garlic 1 head of dill 1/2 sliced onion Unpeeled sliced cucumbers [I use the food processor] Pour cooled brine over cucumbers and put lids on Store in refrigerator. Keeps for months.
Directions:
These are sweet. Try the garlic [after it has set a while-my family fights over it!] if you make them. |
