• 1 lb. flank steak, sliced thin against the grain.
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil - ESSENTIAL: use Kadoya or other "smoky-flavored"
  • sesame oil!
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2+ cloves garlic, crushed


Combine all ingredients except beef in a large bowl. Stir well. Add beef slices, and marinade at least 30 minutes (better, several hours). Stir-fry, broil or grill marinaded beef slices. Yum! (if necessary, add a bit more of
other ingredients to cover beef while it marinades!)
