Ingredients
- Batter:
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup melted shortening
- 1/2 cup peach juice
- 1 egg
Directions
Mix dry ingredients over softened shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Beat, and spread over peaches.
Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes. Turn upside down and let cool.
