• 3 c. flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp red chiles, such as piquina or jalapeno
  • 24 oz. beer


Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients together till well combined. Spoon into greased bread pan and smooth the top. Bake for 1 hour, or till golden brown and the loaf appears done. Cool on wire rack. May be served topped with Chile Cream Cheese.
