Ingredients

  • Meat:
  • 1 beef brisket
  • 1 bottle liquid smoke
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup bottled BBQ sauce
  • 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • dash Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Meat:
Marinate brisket in liquid smoke overnight. Add 1/2 cup water and cover and bake at 325: for 4-5 hours or overnight. Slice thinly across the grain and put meat into a baking dish. Top with sauce and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes more.

Sauce:
Combine all ingredients and heat through.
