Ingredients
- Can (16 - 19 oz) chick peas
- 1/4 cup sesame tahini (blend the entire container
- before you use this)
- 2 - 3 tbls lemon juice
- 2 - 3 tbls extra virgin olive oil
- 3 - 5 cloves garlic
- cumin
Directions
Drain chick peas but save 1/4 cup of the juice
Add drained chick peas, 1/4 cup juice from chick peas, 1/4 cup sesame tahini, 2 - 3 tbls lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil (I use 3 tbls of each but if you like it thicker use two of each), 3 - 5 garlic gloves with skin removed (3 to 5 depends on how much you like garlic) all in a blender. Blend until smooth, put a dash or two of cumin on top. Serve in a small bowl with triangles of Pita Bread
