Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. onion - chopped
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbls. hot sauce (more or less to taste)
  • 3 ozs. vinager
  • 1 6oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 cup barbacue sauce
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 lb. cooked potatoes - slightly mashed
  • 1 chicken - cooked and diced
  • 2 - 3 cups water

Directions

Fry onions in margarine.
Add other ingredients except potatoes, chicken and water; cook 30 minutes. You may need to add a small amount of water to prevent sticking.
Add potatoes and chicken; cook 15 minutes.
Add water 2 - 3 cups as nessesary and cook 1 - 2 hours.
Also you can sub pork for the chicken
A very spicey and thick stew.
