Ingredients

  • water
  • milk
  • 10 grams black tea leaves or 4 black teabags
  • sugar, to taste
  • fresh grated ginger, to taste
  • ground cardomom, a pinch

Directions

Combine two teacups of water and two teacups of milk in a saucepan. Add sugar, ginger, and a pinch of cardomom. Bring to a simmer carefully. Remove from heat, add tea, cover, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove teabags if you are using them and then strain (this will rid the tea of gingerpieces and loose tea.) Enjoy!!
