Tsatziki can also be made by thinly slicing cucumber and garlic rather than putting the ingredients through a blender. Delicious served on toasted pita bread wedges, Gyros and or a salad dressing.


  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1 cucumber, seeded,sliced thinly, and drained
  • 1/2 pint plain yogurt, drained
  • 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh dill
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh mint
  • salt & pepper to taste


Combine garlic, cumcumber and yogurt in blender. Add remaining ingredients. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve
