Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1 egg - beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
- *topping*
- 1/4 cup margarine - melted
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions
Sift together the dry ingredients.
Add the sugar.
Mix in rest of ingredients and blend well.
Fill greased cupcake pans 2/3 full and bake at 350 F. for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from pans and roll immediately in melted butter and then in the topping.
