Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 onion or 4 scallions, sliced and chopped
  • 1/4 C. cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 head of lettuce shredded or chopped
  • 2 hard cooked eggs, sliced

Directions

Saute bacon until crisp in large pot.
Remove. Crumble. Reserve. Brown onion in
bacon drippings.Add vinegar, sugar, salt,
and pepper. Bring to boil. Add lettuce to
pot and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add bacon
and egg slices and toss.
