Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups apples, Chopped
  • 1 cup nuts, Chopped

Directions

1 Preheat oven to 350 deg F. (325 F for dark pans).
2 Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and set aside.
3 Combine sugar, eggs, oil, sour cream and vanilla, beating well.
4 Blend into flour mixture.
5 Fold in apples and nuts and pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
6 Bake 1 hour or until loaves test done.
Makes 2 loaves.
