Ingredients

  • 1 arm or chuck roast
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 T. oil
  • 1cup Coke
  • 1-1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

Pierce meat several times, on both sides.
Sauti garlic in oil. Add rest of ingredients, and bring to a boil. Cool. Pour over the meat and marinate, turning occasionally, for 24 hours.
Remove meat, pat with paper towel, and grill, about 45 minutes.
***I always make a double batch of the marinade because we like the meat to be sliced thin, and then pour the marinade over it. If there's any meat left, reheat in the marinade.
***I use a heavy, zippered, plastic bag to marinate it.
