Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1= T curry powder or to taste place curry in pan
  • b4 the meat and veg,
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 (1 lb.) can baked beans
  • 1 (1 lb.) can chick peas
  • 1 (1 lb.) can lima beans,
  • undrained
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 c. pimento olives, sliced
  • (use for biscuits)

Directions

Sauth in large skillet ground beef, celery, onion, green
pepper and garlic. Cook until tender. Add water, tomato
paste, salt and paprika (reserve 1 cup for biscuits). Add
baked beans, limas and chick peas. Simmer while preparing
biscuits. Place meat and vegetables in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Roll biscuits out in 12 x 9-inch rectangle. Combine
olives and reserved meat mixture. Spread over biscuit dough,
starting with 12 inside; seal up edges. Cut into 1-inch pieces
and place on meat mixture in pan. Bake in a preheated 425:
oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
