Ingredients

  • 8 oz. vermicelli, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 c. commercial Italian salad
  • dressing
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen snow pea pods,
  • thawed
  • 15 fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 c. cooked chicken, cubed
  • 3/4 c. pine nuts
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. fresh basil, chopped
  • 12 cherry tomatoes, halved

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Rinse with cold water, drain. Combine pasta and 1/2 cup salad dressing, tossing to coat. Cover and chill 3 hours. Combine chicken, 1 cup salad dressing and rest of ingredients except tomatoes, tossing well. Cover, chill 3 hours. When ready to serve, combine pasta, chicken and tomatoes, tossing well. Yields 6 servings.
