Ingredients
- 1 16oz. bag dried black beans
- 1 medium onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 10 bacon slices, chopped into inch size pieces
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tbls. crushed red pepper
- 10 cups water
Directions
Carefully clean the dried beans (they always have a few rocks mixed in there!) and wash them. In a slow cooker, add all ingredients EXCEPT the salt. Cook on low for eight hours. Half an hour before serving, add the salt. ENJOY!
