Ingredients
- 2 slices of bacon,cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1 15oz. can of spinach or 1 package of frozen spinach,cooked and drained.
- 1 oz. butter or margarine
- 2 TBS. minced onion
- 1 tsp. garlic powder (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1-1/2 TBS Italian croutons, (crushed) If desired
- 4 ozs. (I prefer more) of cheese such as mozzarella, edam, or american.
Directions
Prepare and crumble bacon first. Heat up the canned spinach for about two minutes in microwave, or heat frozen spinach until it is well-thawed. Add the onion and butter. Season and heat about one minute more. Add crumbled bacon and cheese. Heat until cheese is well melted and serve immediately. makes two servings.
