Spinach augrautin Recipe | |

Ingredients:
2 slices of bacon,cooked crispy and crumbled1 15oz. can of spinach or 1 package of frozen spinach,cooked and drained. 1 oz. butter or margarine 2 TBS. minced onion 1 tsp. garlic powder (or to taste) 1/2 tsp seasoned salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1-1/2 TBS Italian croutons, (crushed) If desired 4 ozs. (I prefer more) of cheese such as mozzarella, edam, or american.
Directions:
Prepare and crumble bacon first. Heat up the canned spinach for about two minutes in microwave, or heat frozen spinach until it is well-thawed. Add the onion and butter. Season and heat about one minute more. Add crumbled bacon and cheese. Heat until cheese is well melted and serve immediately. makes two servings. |
