Ingredients
- Mix together:
- 1 lb. of beef
- 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. of garlic salt and pepper
- 1 pkg. of onion soup mix
- Shape into balls and brown in a fry pan.
- Cut and add to pan:
- 1 onion (cut into wedges)
- 2 carrots (sliced)
- Green/red peppers and celery
- Sauce:
- Bring to a boil in saucepan:
- 1 tbsp. of cornstarch
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of vinegar
- 1 tbsp. of soy sauce
- 1 beef or chicken bouillon cube
Directions
Serve meatballs on a bed of rice or noodles. Pour sauce over meatballs.
