Ingredients

  • Mix together:
  • 1 lb. of beef
  • 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. of garlic salt and pepper
  • 1 pkg. of onion soup mix
  • Shape into balls and brown in a fry pan.
  • Cut and add to pan:
  • 1 onion (cut into wedges)
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • Green/red peppers and celery
  • Sauce:
  • Bring to a boil in saucepan:
  • 1 tbsp. of cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. of soy sauce
  • 1 beef or chicken bouillon cube

Directions

Serve meatballs on a bed of rice or noodles. Pour sauce over meatballs.
