Ingredients

  • Cake
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • Frosting
  • 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
  • 1/2 stick margarine

Directions

Cake
Cream together and then add: 1 tsp. vanilla 1 can angel flake coconut 1 c. chopped nuts Mix well then fold in 5 stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in oven for 25 minutes at 350.
Frosting
Cream together. Then add: 1 c. chopped nuts 1 box confectioners sugar Mix well.
