Recipe handed out at WW meeting. One muffin equals 1 point.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3 cups white flour
  • 5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 T salt
  • 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 cups All Bran
  • 3 cups natural bran
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 2 eggs and 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1Qt buttermilk - 1%
  • 1-1/2 cups water

Directions

MAKES 5 DOZEN ......
Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl.
Beat eggs and all liquids together.
Combine dry ingredients and liquids.
Refrigerate overnight.
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
