Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup break crumbs (stuffing)
  • 3-4 oz. of mushrooms - sliced thinly
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Combine the above. Spread over 1 (1 to 1.5 lb.) flank steak, scored on both sides. Roll up like jelly roll, Fasten with skewers or string. Pour 2 tsp. olive oil into slow-cooker. Roll steak in oil, coating all sides.
  • Sauce:
  • 1 (3/4 oz.) package brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 2 Tbsp mined green onions
  • 1/2 cup currant jelly (optional)

Directions

Prepare gravy mix according to package directions. Pour gravy, wine and onions over meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 - 9 hours. Remove meat from pot; slice. Add jelly to sauce and stir until dissolved. Serve over meat.


Makes 4 - 5 servings.
