STUFFED FLANK STEAK Recipe

Ingredients:
3/4 cup break crumbs (stuffing)
3-4 oz. of mushrooms - sliced thinly
2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese.

Combine the above. Spread over 1 (1 to 1.5 lb.) flank steak, scored on both sides. Roll up like jelly roll, Fasten with skewers or string. Pour 2 tsp. olive oil into slow-cooker. Roll steak in oil, coating all sides.

Sauce:
1 (3/4 oz.) package brown gravy mix
1/2 cup dry red wine
2 Tbsp mined green onions
1/2 cup currant jelly (optional)

Directions:
Prepare gravy mix according to package directions. Pour gravy, wine and onions over meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 - 9 hours. Remove meat from pot; slice. Add jelly to sauce and stir until dissolved. Serve over meat.
Makes 4 - 5 servings.
