Ingredients

  • 12 oz. of beer
  • 3 to 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • seasoned salt
  • black pepper
  • 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. raw, deveined shrimp, in the shells
  • Cocktail Sauce:
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 to 3 tsp. creamed horseradish
  • 1 to 2 Tbs. fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • dashes of salt, pepper, cayenne
  • snipped rosemary, to taste

Directions

Place beer, rosemary, several dashes of seasoned salt and pepper in the bottom of a steamer. Bring to a boil. Steam the shrimp 3 to 5 minutes until pink and cooked through. For cocktail sauce: Mix all ingredients together.
