Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 large green pepper, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4tbs butter or margarine
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 8oz package shredded mozzerella cheese
  • 2 medium zucchini, sliced

Directions

In medium skillet brown sausage and set aside. In large skillet, while sausage is cooking, melt half of butter.
Saute onion and pepper until tender-crisp and remove from skillet. Melt remaining butter in large skillet and saute zucchini until tender-crisp.
Layer on top of zucchini in this order:
sausage
pepper-onion mixture
tomato
shredded cheese
Put lid on skillet to melt cheese.
