Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh sauerkraut, well drained
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 11 ounces canned Italian styled stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 3 lbs. country style pork ribs cut in to individual sections
  • sprinkle of celery seed

Directions

In a Crockpot, LAYER all ingredients, beginning with sauerkraut and ending with pork ribs, bone-side up. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hrs.
