• 3/4 cup long grain or brown rice
  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 head coarsely chopped cabbage
  • salt, pepper, dill, and cinnamon to taste


Combine all ingredients and simmer until rice and cabbage are tender. If using brown rice, simmer rice for 15 minutes before adding other ingredients.

Serves: 4
