Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. plain penne
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tsp. white pepper
  • 2 oz. prosciutto ham
  • 2 oz. bacon
  • 2 tumblers vodka
  • Several drops of tabasco sauce
  • 10 oz. tomato paste
  • 9 oz. whipping cream
  • 4 oz. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsps. butter

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan and add finely chopped onion, bacon and prosciutto ham. Add pepper and tabasco. Cook until golden. Add vodka and allow to evaporate. Add tomato paste and simmer for twenty minutes. Ad cream and cook over low heat until sauce thickens. Cook pasta "al dente" and drain. Mix with sauce and Parmesan cheese while still on the stove.
