Ingredients

  • Damson plums
  • Sugar

Directions

Wash, cut into halves and remove the seeds from the plums. Stir into the plums an equal amount of sugar. The sugar may be moistened with a very little water or the fruit may be permitted to stand for 12 hours before it is cooked. Boil the preserves until the sirup is heavy.
