Note: When using vodka for a liqueur, use a less expensive brand since the taste is being masked anyway
Ingredients
- 8 heaping teaspoons instant coffee powder
- 3 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 quart water
- 2 1/2 cups vodka
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
Bring the first 3 ingredients to a full boil. Simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour. Cool. Add vodka and vanilla. Bottle and allow to rest for at least 30 days in a cool, dark place.
