Ingredients

  • 1 lb of steak (sirloin or cut of choice)
  • 1 package of firm cherry tomatoes
  • 2 gr. peppers
  • Small cooked potatoes
  • 8 oz can of water chestnuts
  • Marinade:
  • 4 oz cream sherry
  • 1 tsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tsp terriyaki sauce
  • 1 oz. olive oil
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Directions

combine all ingredients of the marinade as listed above. Tenderize the steak with a meat tenderizer such as Adolph's, and pierce with fork as directed. Marinad the meat in the sauce for 8 to 24 hours.

Cut the meat into chunks about 1 to 2 inches big and about one inch thick. Thread the beef and vegetables on skewers, alternating. Melt 4 os. butter and mix with 2 tsp. cream sherry, 1/2 tsp terriyaki and brush on the meat while grilling. Grill until the meat is done and vegetables are tender. Makes about four servings.
