Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 2/3 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup pecan halves, chopped
  • 1 Frozen Shortening Pie shell -thawed
  • 15 min
  • Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions

In a large bowl thoroughly combine melted chocolate, corn syrup, sugar and eggs; stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell which has been placed on a cookie sheet. Bake in 400F oven 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 350F and bake 20 minutes longer. Cool then chill. Slice and serve with ice cream.



Makes 8 servings.
