Ingredients

  • One large can baked beans
  • One pound ground beef
  • One large onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce (hickory smoked, or your favorite)
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Drain beans in colander. Rinse very lightly with a touch of water to remove starchy sauce.
Saute ground beef with chopped onions. Drain grease and discard.

Mix all ingredients and simmer gently until flavors combine, approximately 15 minutes.
