Aunt Lane's Barbeque Beans Recipe

  American Beef

One large can baked beans
One pound ground beef
One large onion, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup barbeque sauce (hickory smoked, or your favorite)
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Drain beans in colander. Rinse very lightly with a touch of water to remove starchy sauce.
Saute ground beef with chopped onions. Drain grease and discard.

Mix all ingredients and simmer gently until flavors combine, approximately 15 minutes.
