• 1 9 inch pie crust, baked
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup key lime juice (bottled)
  • 4 tablespoons sugar


Beat egg yolks. Add condensed milk and mix well. Slowly add lime juice until mixture resembles custard. Bake in
350 degree oven for l0 to l5 minutes, until firm. Allow to
cool. Beat egg whites until stiff, adding sugar gradually
while beating. Put meringue on top of pie and bake at 450
degrees until golden brown on top, about 10 minutes.
