Ingredients

  • 1 tsp packed brown sugar
  • 3/4th tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp margerine or butter
  • 1 thin slice lemon
  • 1 slice onion
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tsp liiquid smoke [opt]

Directions

Mix all ings. except catsup, worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke, in a small saucepan. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 20 mins., strain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. baste beef during last half of grilling period
