This a wonderful recipe and I'm sure you will enjoy

Ingredients

  • Meat Loaf
  • 3/4 lbs ea. Meat (Veal, Pork, Beef_)
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Can Mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Molasses
  • 1 Can Diced tomatoes
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 3-4 Slices Bacon
  • 6 Slices White bread
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Lard
  • 1/2 Cup Milk

Directions

Fry large onion with lard, add garlic near the end. Mix all the meat together with onions and garlic. Place bread in a dish and pour milk over it and let soak and add to meat. Add all the other ingredients except the diced tomatoes and mix. Place a portion of diced tomatoes on the bottom of a large baking pan or dish (9 x 12) as a bed for the meat loaf. Then place a portion on top and add the beacon strips over it. Bake at 350 degrees F for 2 hours or until done After 1 hour check and add water if necessary.
