Ingredients

  • MINCEMEAT
  • Cook 5 MINUTES
  • 2 cups 500ML apples cut in small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup 125ML brown sugar
  • 2 tsp 10ML lemon juice
  • 2 TBsp 30ML butter
  • Add and cook 5 MINUTES more
  • 2 tbsp 30ML molasses
  • 1 cup 250ML RAISINS
  • 1/2 cup 125ML ORANGE-lemon- (peels)
  • 3 tbsp 45ML (PURE LARD) not crisco(Tenderflake if available where you are)
  • 3 tbsp 45ML RUM
  • 3 tbsp 45ML COGNAC
  • 3 tbsp 45ML VINAIGar
  • 1/4 cup 50ML NOIX HACHIS
  • 1 tsp 5ML MUSCADE
  • 1/2 tsp 2ML allspices
  • 1/2 tsp 2ML CLOve
  • put in a container for 4 hours before using.
  • may be kept in frig for several days
