  British Dessert

Ingredients:
MINCEMEAT

Cook 5 MINUTES

2 cups 500ML apples cut in small pieces
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup 125ML brown sugar
2 tsp 10ML lemon juice
2 TBsp 30ML butter
Add and cook 5 MINUTES more

2 tbsp 30ML molasses
1 cup 250ML RAISINS
1/2 cup 125ML ORANGE-lemon- (peels)
3 tbsp 45ML (PURE LARD) not crisco(Tenderflake if available where you are)
3 tbsp 45ML RUM
3 tbsp 45ML COGNAC
3 tbsp 45ML VINAIGar
1/4 cup 50ML NOIX HACHIS
1 tsp 5ML MUSCADE
1/2 tsp 2ML allspices
1/2 tsp 2ML CLOve

put in a container for 4 hours before using.

may be kept in frig for several days
