Again I had to break this recipe down and it can be built up as well Bye now!


  • 18 large cherrystone clams
  • 2 lbs.littlenecks
  • 2 cloves garlic chpped
  • 1/4 C. parsley (flat)
  • 1/4 C olive oil
  • 1/4 C. butter
  • Pinch or two cayenne
  • 1/8 tsp. blak pepper
  • 2 large ripe tomatos
  • 1 Tbs.tomato paste
  • 1 can toato sauce (16 oz. or to you liking)
  • 1 Tbs. flour
  • 3/4 lb. spaghetti/linguini
  • grted parmasean (fresh or bought)


Open the cherrystones (if you don't have ashucker steam them open in microwave, but kepp a close eye while doig this) Save the juices, and chop, medium fine. Wash littlenecks.
Combine olive oil and butter in skillet and melt. Add chopped clams; cook for 3 minutes. Add garlic, parsley, cayenne, ad black pepper. Stir and allow to cook 2 minutes. Add tomatos(chopped), paste, sauce 2 Tbs. of reserved clamjuice andflour. Add littlenecks, cover and cook 10 minutes. Sprinkle cheese and part of te sauce over cooked pasta, toss. Pour onto platter,and spoon sauce over all.
