Ingredients

  • 1 2-pound bag or can sauerkraut, drained well
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

Combine sauerkraut, celery, green pepper, and onion. Mix well. Dissolve sugar in vinegar and add oil. Pour over sauerkraut mixture and chill overnight.
