MAPLE SUGAR Melt 1/3 cup maple sugar and use as maple syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • Dash salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup evaporated milk, chilled

Directions

Combine maple syrup,egg yolks and salt. Cook over boiling water until thickened, beat until cool, add vanilla and chill. Whip milk very stiff, fold in maple custard and freeze until firm.
